The District Accountability Committee (DAC) is made up of representatives from every district school, community members at large, and principal representatives. The committee receives an annual charge, or list of duties and activities, from the Board of Education. The committee meets monthly to discuss district issues, activities, and programs. School representatives serve as the link between their school accountability committee and the District Accountability Committee.
DAC meetings are held in the Board Room at the Education Services Center on the third Wednesday of the month, September to April from 7-9 p.m.

Become an At-Large Member of DAC
The District Accountability Committee (DAC) is comprised of representatives from each LPS school, and at-large members who represent the community as a whole. If you are interested in representing your school on DAC, please contact your school principal.
The committee seeks new at-large members at the beginning of each school year. All district residents may serve on DAC, even if you do not have children in a district school. Nonresidents with students optionally enrolled in an LPS school may also serve on DAC.
If you are interested in becoming an at-large member, please complete the application and submit it via email to kschaper@lps.k12.co.us or fax 303 347-4394.
