ETAC has completed accepting applications for the
 2009-2010 School Year-
New applicants can apply in May for 
2010-2011 

ETAC meets on the last Wednesday of each month during the school year. Arrival is at 6:00 p.m. for social networking and the committee convenes at 6:30 p.m. All meetings are planned to conclude by 8:30 p.m. The meeting is held at different school locations around the district.

gschillinger@lps.k12.co.us. The ETAC executive committee will review applicants and make a recommendation to the Board of Education for appointment.

 Educational Technology Advisory Committee

The purpose of the Educational Technology Advisory Committee [ETAC] is to provide the Board of Education [Board] with a Littleton Public Schools [LPS] community perspective regarding the use of technology for student learning, technology program priorities, and advise the Board regarding district-wide technology systems. The Committee is also charged with advising the Board regarding the Educational Technology/Information Literacy Plan and monitoring compliance with state and federal laws.

The responsibilities of the Committee include:

  1. Aid and advise the Board and the Chief Information Officer in the following matters:
    1. Maintenance of the District’s Educational Technology/Information Literacy [ET/IL] Plan to enable the District to fulfill federal and state laws and rules governing the filing of such plan with the Colorado Department of Education.
    2. Advise the Board concerning long-range planning, guiding priorities, budgetary considerations, and evaluation of technology services and programs.
  2. To develop the Committee’s annual charge, including areas of study, in cooperation with the Board.
  3. To assist the Board in communicating the district’s plans and accomplishments to the community.
