Bob Colwell, president, was elected to his first term on the Board in November 2005. A native of California, Bob received his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and secondary teaching certification from the University of Colorado in 1974. After teaching high school for eight years, Bob changed careers and received his CPA certificate in 1983. While working at CPA firms in the Denver area, he completed a Masters in Taxation from the University of Denver in 1988. He is currently owner of Colwell & Company, Inc., a local CPA firm in Littleton. Bob is a member of the Denver Tech Kiwanis Club, serves on the board of the Southern Metropolitan District and has done extensive volunteer work in the community and in the schools. He is also the Board liaison to the PTO Presidents Council (PPC) and the District Accountability Committee (DAC). Bob and his wife, Karen, have two children, Michael and Leslie, who attended Littleton Public Schools from kindergarten until graduation.

 
  
 Renée Howell

Elected in 2005 and 2009, Renée Howell is serving her second term on the Board of Education. An education specialist working with a firm that analyzes Colorado school finance, she has also owned an art related business and worked in the IT field for many years. She is the Board liaison for the Educational Technology Advisory Committee (ETAC) from 2008-present. She has also served as the Board liaison for the District Accountability Committee (2007-2009) and the Special Services Advisory Committee (2005-2007). From 2007-2009 Renee was elected to the Board of Directors for the Colorado Association of Schools Boards (CASB). She was also appointed to serve on Governor Ritter's On-Line Learning Advisory Board (OLAB) from 2007-2009. Renée managed both the 2002 bond and the 2004 mill levy campaigns. She also served on the steering committees for the 1995 bond and 1997 mill levy campaigns. Over the past 20 plus years, Renée has served on the district's financial advisory, citizens' oversight, capital improvement planning, legislative and district accountability comittees as well as a variety of PTO roles. She and her husband, Glenn Gumley have three children whose K-12 careers have been at LPS; one has graduated and works in the Denver metro area, the other two are in college.

Sue Chandler, Secretary of the Board, is now serving her second four-year term. She is the Board liaison to the Rocky Mountain School of Expeditionary Learning and the District Health and Wellness Committee. She is co-chair of the Greater Littleton Youth Initiative. Sue has served on a National Peer Leader Committee for Health and Wellness in Education. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Whitworth University in 1986. Sue taught preschool for a number of years. She has also been active as a volunteer in the Littleton community since 1990. She has been recognized for her volunteer efforts by a number of organizations including Directors of Volunteers in Agencies (DOVIA) and Colorado Association of Partners in Education (CAPE). Prior to being on the Board, Sue served on the District Accountability Committee, was President of the PTO President's Council, served on the District Calendar Committee and was on the LPS Foundation Board for many years. She also worked on the 2004 mill levy campaign committee. Sue and her husband Scott have been married for 24 years. They have three children that have graduated from Arapahoe High School and are currently attending college or working.

 Lucie Stanish, Board Treasurer, was elected to her first term on the Board in November 2007. Lucie grew up in Littleton, attended Runyon Elementary School and Euclid Junior High School and graduated from Heritage High School. Lucie received her Bachelor of Science in Business/Accounting from Colorado State University and worked as a corporate accountant for many years. Currently, she is an accountant for several local businesses. As a volunteer, Lucie was a leader for Cub Scouts and Girls Scouts and has been an active PTO volunteer starting as a kindergarten room parent and continuing on to help with numerous committees. She has held several PTO executive board positions, including three years as PTO president and has served on school accountability committees. Lucie has also served on a variety of district level committees including the Financial Advisory Committee, The Gifted & Talented Council and the PTO Presidents' Council. She currently is the Board liaison for the Special Services Advisory Council and the LPS Foundation. Lucie and her husband Mark have been married for 24 years. They have two children who have attended Runyon Elementary, Euclid Middle School, Heritage High School, and Littleton High School.

 
  
 Mary Nichols

Mary Nichols was elected to the Board in November 2007. She recently completed her B.A. degree in Law and Society at The Women's College at DU. She has been an active participant in Littleton Public Schools for the past fifteen years. She has served as the chairperson of the District Accountability Committee and worked with the District Calendar Committee and the Financial Advisory Committee (FAC). She is currently the Board liaison for the Gifted and Talented Advisory Council (GTAC). She also serves on the Civic Design Team for the Family Leadership Training Institute of the Arapahoe County Early Childhood Council. Mary was involved in the school-based accountability committees at Hopkins, Euclid, and Heritage. In addition, she has been active with the PTO at the elementary and middle level. She worked at Sandburg Elementary School as a paraprofessional for two years. She also worked with the Wildwood Child Care Food Program when her children were younger. Mary has been married to Jim for 23 years. They have three children: Rachel, a Heritage High School graduate in 2006;  Mike, a senior at Heritage; and Brian, a 6th grader at Euclid Middle School.
