It is hard to express just how nervous I was at the podium. In my years as a CASE member, I have never seen the Ballroom at Beaver Run in Breckenridge more than half full on the Friday morning keynote when the next President receives the gavel. This year, it was standing room only as hundreds of school administrators... colleagues, leaders, professionals I admire, were there to listen to Daniel Pink... but they had to listen to me first [;-) The feeling of inadequacy is hard to describe.
I thought you might want to see the address since we featured the fishbowl blogging video as part of the address. After this address, we made an attempt at fishbowl blogging for the Daniel Pink keynote which resulted in over 135 blog postings. I'm hopeful that we'll use this technique again during a keynote and that in the future, this form of interactivity becomes a norm for CASE.
