I feel an important goal for elementary coaches is to collaborate with our Middle School coaches to determine what our 5th graders need to know before entering 6th grade. There is no technology curriculum at the elementary level, so I would guess the Middle School coaches are seeing diverse abilities and experience in their new 6th graders. I think a vertical PLC to work on this, to include HIgh school (?) would be very helpful.

Good comments--I agree with your call for articulation among the coaches. I'm planning to build time into the next Coaches' meeting to do just that. As for a elementary school technology curriculum, we do have a draft piece that Dan has blogged on before; please see:

The fact that we're required to report out to CDE on 8th grade technology proficiencies certainly emphasizes your point, too. This might be a great goal for the coaches this year. Just a thought...
