This May, I will join a student trip from Arapahoe High School to journey to China in an effort to explore new relationships...
This summer, a group of students and their teacher from Arapahoe High School, will travel to China. I've been authorized to fill a spot in the group recently vacated by a student. On the trip, we'll work on establishing relationships that we hope will create learning opportunities for students in Littleton by exchanging culture and language. I expect to spend a considerable amount of time blogging, taking pictures and meeting with school officials over there as the student group participates in the tour. In the coming months, expect to see a "Littleton Meets China" blog established here for this special purpose.

Re: Bound for China
We made it fine... some of the luggage did not arrive with us. But it is on the way. We checked into the hotel and then went straight over to Forbidden City and Tianemen Square. Check out the videos page at http://china.littletonpublicschools.net

Re: Bound for China
We would love to see the video, however, we are having trouble finding/accessing it. Has anyone been successful?

Re: Bound for China
We are reading about the aftershocks from the earthquake...did you experience it in Beijing? This is an incredible time to be visiting China. Hope you all are okay!

Great Wall Run
How long a run on the Wall do you contemplate? Hope you and Calvin can catch some pictures during this jaunt. How's the air quality? Brendan and Nina rafted the Rio Grande Saturday and had so much fun now they want to run the rest of the gorge. 73, coach

Re: Bound for China
UPDATE: No aftershocks were apparent to us. we are all safe and sound and all luggage has arrived. I have posted one video and I'm working on #2 right now. Go to the Videos page at http://china.littletonpublicschools.net linked on the right. There is a Ustream.tv feed there and at the bottom of the page is a teacher tube link. I'll re-organize the page to put the teacher tube links first because the Ustream.tv seems to be having trouble.
