What is the process to register for kindergarten?
All Littleton Public Schools elementary schools will be hosting Kindergarten Registration for the 2013-2014 school year on Monday, January 28 and Tuesday, January 29, 2013 during regular school hours.
If you need to register your child for Kindergarten for the 2012-2013 school year, please visit the school for information.
You may pre-register your kindergartner for the 2013-2014 school year online. You will then need to complete the process by visiting your local school and bringing the required paperwork listed below.
What do I need to bring to register my Kindergartner?

- Birth certificate OR passport
- Immunization records
Do you offer full-day kindergarten programs?
Colorado funds all half-day kindergarten programs and a few full-day kindergarten programs in public schools.
Because we believe strongly in the importance of early childhood education, all LPS elementary schools offer a variety of kindergarten options. Some full-day options are fee-based and some are free to families and funded through state or federal monies.

What is the minimum age requirement for kindergarten?
Students are eligible for kindergarten if they turn five years of age on or before October 1 of the year of enrollment.
Does LPS offer early access to kindergarten?
Applications for early access to kindergarten may be submitted starting January 1, 2013 through May 31, 2013. Out-of-district families must apply for open enrollment prior to being considered for early access. Contact the Gifted and Talented Education office, 303-347-3477, for additional information.
