A student is on grade level if he/she is meeting the expectations for his/her age group peers on the defined essential learning objectives as measured by performance on:
- Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP);
- District-determined assessments (Measures of Academic Progress, Colorado Basic Literacy Act, 2nd grade writing);
- Classroom performance
The official measure will be taken each September after all the data are collected.
Ninety percent is the district aggregate. This means that the performance measures for all students in LPS in all grade levels are tabulated together to determine the overall district achievement level.
Performance level in 2007: 78.06%
Performance level in 2008: 77.39%
Performance level in 2009: 79.6%
