Which students will be able to use lpsk12.org?
Currently, all grade 4-12 students are given Google Apps accounts.
Will my lpsk12.org login work with other Google products (Blogger, Reader, Wave, etc.)?
Yes, your lpsk12.org login works with most Google products. The exceptions are those products not normally allowed under district policy, such as Google Talk.
Will my login information for lpsk12.org be the same as my other logins?
No, your login is different. You can find your login information by going to Infinite Campus and clicking on the Technology Tab. Please see your teacher or computer coach if you need help with this process.
Will students be allowed to share documents and communicate with others outside the domain?
Yes. We believe that students will need to share their work with others outside of Littleton Public Schools. That said, students are still responsible for the work they produce, and are still expected to follow classroom and district guidelines for appropriate use of web resources. All classroom rules and district policies apply to your work in lpsk12.org.
What will my email address be? Can anyone send email to it, or only those within lpsk12.org?
Your email address will be your lpsk12.org username, followed by @lpsk12.org. Anyone can email you. The account will be filtered for spam and content.
Is my stuff private in lpsk12.org, or will teachers be looking at it?
Any information stored in or accessed using district resources can be viewed by the district. This includes any documents, email or sites from within lpsk12.org. District policies for privacy apply. All email (inbound and outbound) is filtered for inappropriate content.
We encourage you to share your login information with your parents and show them what you are doing in class.
I forgot my login/password. What should I do?
You can get your login and password from Infinite Campus. If you need help with this, contact your teacher or computer coach.
After I graduate (or leave the district), do I still have access to all my stuff? How?
Students are not guaranteed access to lpsk12.org past the day they withdraw or graduate from the district. Prior to leaving, you will want to transfer, download or otherwise arrange to move your data to another location. Use the guides below to help you change ownership of your Google Sites and Documents.
