School Improvement Goals 2009 Update

  • By 2012, 90% of students will be on or above grade level in reading and writing as measured by gradel level determination 
  • By 2012, 80% of students who are below grade level in reading will be on or above grade level as measured by MAP
  • By 2012, Euclid will fully implement the Positive Behavior Support model with progress measured by the schoolwide evaluation tool

Enrichment

  • Accelerated math courses, all grade levels, ability grouping
  • Integrated math enrichment and remediation of computational skills through ALEKS.com for every sixth grade student
  • Exploratory/elective program in fine, practical, and performing arts, foreign language, aerospace/aeronautics, technology, physical education, extensive band/vocal/strings music program, commercial art, woodshop
  • Technology integrated into classroom instruction via Smartboards, projectors, speakers, and computers in every classroom, a Netbook for every sixth grade language arts student
  • Comprehensive technology lab, 21 modules (robotics, laser, flight simulation, rocketry, graphics, radio/TV broadcasting, weather, electronics, manufacturing, publishing, etc.)
  • Preparation for high school International Baccalaureate program
  • Special education resource and individual needs programs
