Policy Name    Voting Method

No action of the Board of Education shall be considered legal or binding unless approved by an affirmative vote of a majority of the entire Board of Education at a regular or special meeting of said Board of Education. Said action to be binding shall be recorded in the official minutes of the Board of Education.

 

Roll Call

All voting shall be by roll call vote. The names of Board of Education members shall be called alphabetically and each member present shall vote “Aye” or “No” upon all questions unless excused for good cause by the Board of Education.

 

Secret Ballot

Voting by secret ballot shall be prohibited except in the election of Board of Education officers as set forth in Policy BCA.
