Policy Code FBB Policy Name Enrollment Projections Adoption July 2, 1984 Revised |
Under the direction of the Superintendent and/or his/her designee, a five-year enrollment projection shall be made each fall. All available data shall be considered in making the projection. The projection will be reviewed and approved by the Superintendent.
In addition, each fall administration shall collect, compile, and review other data with respect to the enrollment picture in the District. Such data shall include, but shall not be limited to, current and planned new housing projects, student yield per dwelling unit enrollment patterns in the District, and individual school attendance areas.
The review of this data may result in recommendations for realigning attendance areas, construction of new school facilities, or retirement of existing school facilities.
