Littleton Public Schools Policy

A two-year school calendar shall be prepared by the Superintendent or his/her designee each year for presentation to the Board for approval not later than the first meeting in February. The intention is that the District will develop a calendar one year in advance of the upcoming school year.

The number of days of planned teacher-student instruction and of teacher-student contact shall meet or exceed the requirements of state law.

In preparing the calendar, District personnel shall consult with other districts in the area and utilize the Littleton Public Schools Calendar Values as guidelines in its development.
