The hours of opening and closing each school shall be determined by the Superintendent or his/her designee in accordance with the adopted calendar and state requirements. The time of opening and ending the school day may be modified upon the authorization of the Superintendent when emergencies justify such a change.

During the school year, all schools shall be in session five days a week, Monday through Friday, except upon authorization of the Superintendent or his/her designee or during authorized holiday periods.
