The Board is committed to ensuring an educational program of consistently high quality in each of the District’s schools. In order to meet unique educational needs, better serve the needs of the school community, and/or assist in maximizing use of existing facilities, the Board may establish magnet school programs in specific schools. Such programs shall operate under the direct supervision of the school principal.

Magnet school programs shall be subject to the periodic review of the Board, and the Board may direct expansion or discontinuance based on factors such as program effectiveness, changing needs, and availability of funds.
