Employees have a professional responsibility which extends beyond the work site and the hours of service. Employees should welcome opportunities to explain the school system to members of the community. Therefore, the Board wishes employees to be well-informed concerning the educational philosophy, strategic plan, mission statement, vision statement, policies, regulations, and programs of the District so that questions can be answered accurately and in a straightforward manner.
The Board encourages staff members to recognize their responsibilities to the community and take active roles in the various cultural, civic, and charitable projects.
