Magnet school programs offer services to students residing in all attendance areas of the District under the optional enrollment provision in Board policy and consistent with staffing ratios and class size limits determined by the Board. The Board may establish a specific enrollment period for accepting and processing applications for students to participate in magnet school programs in order to assist with staffing decisions.

Except for individual cases involving unique needs or unusual circumstances, optional enrollment of other students at the magnet school may be delayed until the process for enrolling students in the magnet program is complete.
