Tricia Cannava Wins Music Competition Cash Prize

Centennial, Colorado—Tricia Cannava, Arapahoe High School Senior clarinetist, placed second in the Sigma Alpha Iota Music Sorority Denver Alumni Chapter’s Young Women High School Senior Concerto Competition for 2005. A $400 cash prize accompanied the award for her outstanding performance. Tricia was also selected to perform in the prestigious 2005 University of Colorado Honor Band earlier in the year.

Tricia Cannava is a student in the Arapahoe High School Band Program, and is presently studying clarinet with Heather Davis of the Colorado Wind Ensemble. Dr. Ed Cannava is her band director at Arapahoe High School.
