Arapahoe Band Students Selected to All State Bands

Centennial, Colorado—Seniors, Ethan Turner, Bassoon, Ben Link, Tenor Sax, and Elliott Hoefflin, Trumpet, have been selected to perform in this year’s All State Band. Seniors, Alex Hill, Alto Sax, Jake Dykes, Baritone Sax, and Jessica Swift, Horn, were selected as alternates. The 2005 All State Symphonic Band is comprised of 113 students representing 50 high schools. 850 students from 144 high schools participated in the recent All State Band auditions. This year’s All State Band Concert will take place at the Colony Civic Center Auditorium in Greeley, on Saturday, April 2 at 4:00 p.m. Dr. Ed Cannava is Arapahoe’s Director of Bands.
