ARAPAHOE BAND STUDENTS SELECTED TO ALL STATE BAND

Littleton, Colorado --   Senior Tenor Saxophonist Laura Saunders, Senior Clarinetist Kim Butler, and Junior Trumpeter Scott Jacobs have been selected to perform in this year’s All State Symphonic  Band. Junior Hornist Kirsten Sabotnik was selected  to perform in the All State Concert Band. The 2002 Symphonic Band comprises 112 students representing 56 high schools. 831 students from 134 high schools participated in the recent All State Band auditions.

          This year’s All State Band Concert will take place at the Colony Civic Center Auditorium in Greeley, on Saturday, April 6, at 4:00 p.m. Dr. Ed Cannava is Arapahoe’s Director of Bands.
