Arapahoe High School Jazz Musicians Achieve Awards at UNC-Greeley Jazz Festival

Centennial, Colorado—The Arapahoe High School Jazz I and Dry Creek Dixie Dawgs were awarded unanimous Excellent-I ratings at the UNC-Greeley Jazz Festival on April 23, 2005. Arapahoe’s Jazz II received an overall II+ rating at the festival.

The following jazz musicians were awarded Outstanding Musicianship Certificates: Todd Shaw, Trumpet; Billy Norris, Trombone; Jeff Henton, Trombone; Tim Clarkson, Banjo; Sean Case, Drums; Ethan Turner, Alto Sax; and Ben Link, Tenor Sax.

Dr. Ed Cannava directs the Jazz bands and Combo at Arapahoe High School.
