Arapahoe vs. Douglas County Football Game

All 7^th & 8^th grade band students planning on being in the Arapahoe Warrior Band are invited to play. Perform with the award-winning Arapahoe Band at an exciting football game. Come join in the fun and see what playing in the Warrior Band is like!

When: Friday, September 8, 2006

Where: Arapahoe High School Band Room, Practice Field, Cafeteria and Littleton Public

Schools Stadium (behind Littleton High School, just east of Littleton Blvd. & Broadway)

Advance: payable to ABB) by Friday, September 1^st.

What To Music (which you will receive in advance), a pencil, your instrument, and a music lyre

Bring: (miniature music stand that attaches to your instrument, if you have one).

What To T-shirt, jeans, tennis shoes, jacket or sweater (preferably black & gold, or something

Wear: similar).

Time 2:40-3:00 Transfer to A.H.S. (Bus transportation will be provided-as long as you complete

Schedule: the permission form-or you can get your own ride over).

3:00-3:15 Meet on Marching Band Practice Field (just Northeast of the school-parallels

University Blvd.)

3:15-4:30 Rehearsal on Practice Field (Dress for the weather!)

4:30-5:15 Pizza Dinner in Cafeteria

5:15-6:00 Load buses/Transfer to LPS Stadium (You must have a signed

permission slip in order to ride the bus!)

6:00-6:45 Warm-up on track for start of Pre-Game

6:45-7:00 Perform Pre-Game

7:00 p.m Start of Football Game/Play in stands/Perform during half-time

with the Warrior Band

After Half- Circle-up with the Band/Enjoy refreshments from the concession

Time: stand during 3^rd quarter (Bring money for this).

4^th Quarter: Play in the stands

Conclusion Load buses and return to Arapahoe (Once again you must have a signed

of game: permission slip in order to ride the bus!)

Approximately 10:00 p.m. – Dismissal / Happy Memories!
