Arapahoe Musicians Selected to 2007 All State Orchestra

 

Centennial, Colorado—Arapahoe Senior trumpeter, Colton Crandell, Senior trombonist, Jeff Henton, Senior timpanist, Sean Case, and Junior viola player, Emily Haller, have been selected to perform in the Colorado 2007 All State Orchestra. They were among a select number of students chosen statewide. Colton auditioned to be 1 of the top 3 orchestral trumpeters in the state, Jeff was selected to be 1 of the top 2 orchestral trombonists in the state, Sean auditioned to be the top orchestral timpanist in the state, and Emily was selected as one of the top viola players in the state. This year’s All State Orchestra Concert will take place at Macky Auditorium in Boulder on Saturday, February 10^th, at 4:00 p.m.

 

Dr. Ed Cannava is Arapahoe’s Director of Bands and Ms. Kelly Parmenter directs the Orchestra.
