Centennial, Colorado—The Continental League, consisting of all Aurora, Douglas County, and Littleton High Schools along with Regis High School, presented its annual Honor Band, Choir and Orchestra Concert on Monday, January 29, in Boettcher Concert Hall.
Arapahoe High School band musicians selected to perform in this year’s festival included: Abbe Haller and Emily Haller, Flute; Jill Gonder, Oboe; Josh Garties, Emily Morgan, Gabrielle Miller, Laura Liljegren, Madison Munn, and Carissa Pierce, Clarinet; Steve Berres (principal chair) and Alyssa Barton, Bass Clarinet; Chase Piker, Alto Sax; Eddie Lyon (principal chair), Tenor Sax; Nick Weiber (principal chair), Bari Sax; Dustin Flaum and Josh Mackelburger, Trumpet; Sarah Cheney, Horn; Jeff Henton (principal chair) and Billy Norris, Trombone; Brian Leak, Euphonium; Will Gamache and Patrick Kearns, Tuba; and David Culp, Percussion.
Orchestra members include: Dan Huh and Pieter Orlandini, Violin I; Sammy Holland and Nathan Arnold, Violin II; Emily Hall and Jessica Mooney, Viola; Arielle Finkelstein, Cello; Ryan Foley, Bass; Jamie Stippich (principal chair), Oboe; Matt Cullen, Bassoon; Colton Crandell, Trumpet; and Dave Ellis (principal chair), Trombone.
Choir members include: Hannah Jonas, Claire Legrand, Emily Masters, and Kendra Walker, Soprano; Brittany Harms, Shamita Punjabi, Ellen Timboe, and Stephanie Zeppelin, Alto; Jeff Gunnell, Scott Miller, Carter Smith, and Tyler St. Pierre, Tenor; and Preston Brown, Joe Espejo, and Josh Sabey, Bass.
Dr. Ed Cannava directs the Arapahoe Band and Ms. Kelly Parmenter directs the Arapahoe Choir and Orchestra.
