AHS Warrior Marching Band to Perform in 2006 Western Welcome Week Grand Parade

 

Centennial, Colorado—The Arapahoe High School Warrior Marching Band, under the direction of Dr. Ed Cannava, will be performing in the Annual Western Welcome Week Grand Parade on Saturday, August 19. The parade steps off at 10:00 a.m. and will travel west down Littleton Blvd. from Gallup St. It then goes down Main Street through downtown Littleton.

 

The 2006 Warrior Marching Band is led by Drum Majors Ellie Carley and Laura Liljegren. The selections, which will be performed by the Arapahoe Band include: “Voyager” from Star Trek’s “Deep Space Nine”, and “Veterans Salute”.

 

The Warrior Band’s section leaders include: Lyndsey Sotwick, Flute; Josh Garties, Clarinet; Jaime Liljegren, Alto Saxophone; Eddie Lyons, Tenor Saxophone; Dustin Flaum, Trumpet; Bryce Turner, Mellophone; Will Gamache, Low Brass; Mike Wickwar, Battery Percussion; Michael Hargreaves, Cymbals; Rachel Greenberg, Color Guard; and Jeff Henton, Banner Carrier.

 

The Warrior Band’s squad leaders include: Stephanie James and Emily Morgan, Clarinet; Jill Gonder, Alto Saxophone; Abbe Haller, Mellophone; Brian Leak and Alex James, Low Brass; and Leslie Johnson and Nichole Kamps, Color Guard.

 

The 2006-07 Arapahoe Marching Band Staff includes: Fred Bowlus and Tim Clarkson, Percussion; Kenny Bailey  and Dana Esterak, Color Guard; Mark Talley, Marching; Heather Jordan, Flute; Heather Davis, Clarinet; Tate Soldberg, Saxophone; Missy Steinbock, Trumpet: Ron Torp, Mellophone; and Jeff Craig, Low Brass.
