Description: This course is intended to give educators looking at being savvy about Wikis an online opportunity to explore this tool. ( classroom connections, adding media, and creating your own classroom wiki ) We will explore how wikis can make a difference in your classroom with collaboration and begin building your PLE (professional learning environment) and understanding of TPACK . We hope that you allow yourself the chance to explore, learn and open your horizons to this collaborative tool and techniques for transforming your classroom.

Description: This course is intended to expose teachers to a variety of Web 2.0 tools and explore how these tools can help make a difference in their classroom and to begin building their PLE (professional learning environment). What a better place to explore Web 2.0 than in an online class!! This course is being adapted from other similar models we have seen around the web. It is our intention to make this course as robust and meaningful to you as possible. As we get in to our exploration your feedback will play a key role in guaranteeing that result.
This class is intended for teachers with advanced computer and internet experience.

Description: The LPS Google Academy is an online class developed to help K-12 teachers get the most from free Google tools that can impact your classroom. The Academy is made up of modules (mini-courses) where participants get hands-on experience with Google's free tools, learn about instructional strategies, receive resources to share with colleagues, and immerse them in an innovative collaborative environment.
