  • Standing Room Only at LPS Poetry Slam

    With standing room only, the LPS community was mesmerized by 33 amazing slam poets representing Arapahoe, Heritage, Littleton and Options High Schools this past Tuesday night.  The poets inspired the audience with their stories of love, social challenges, wonder and aspirations.  The winners of this year's slam were: 1st place, Max Huey; 2nd place, Peter Constas; and 3rd place, Ellen Huggins.  Congratulations to all the slam poets this year... they are were wonderful!

  • 6th Annual LPS Poetry Slam

    Please join us for the 6th Annual LPS Poetry Slam.  We promise, you'll love it!  Experience the power of the spoken word and snap your fingers for emerging poets from Arapahoe, Heritage, Littleton and Options high school.  These students will inspire and challenge you to the point of cheering, crying and laughing.  Please note, this event is rated PG-13 and content may not be suitable for younger kids.   • The Stride sets participation record!

    Thank you to the 2700+ participants who signed up to run, walk or sleep-in for The Stride.  We had record breaking attendance thanks to our wonderful Stride Captains and their enthusiasm in rallying their school communities to join us.  Known as a great family activity, The Stride has something for everyone and has become a tradition for many.  We are grateful for everyones support! The Stride is a fundraising event for the LPS Foundation and the proceeds from the event are used to provide programs and support in all LPS schools.
