The Fall 2015 Semester Ceramics classes worked with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver to create plates, cups, and bowls, to be sold as a fundraiser at their April 23rd Earth Day event in Highlands Ranch. Ten of our students helped to organize and sell the pottery for donations at this event. These classes were able to raise just over $600 in donations to be given to Habitat to help continue to build affordable housing for families in need within our community. This event was organized to help our students become aware of the needs within our community, and to demonstrate that even the smallest of actions can create an impact within our world.
