AVID PowerPoint
I chose to include this project because it kind of describes what I want to
do when I grow up and it can also tell quite a bit about me. In this assignment we
were told to pick a career and then do research and make a good powerpoint.
I chose the career of Psychiatry, which intrest me cause I really like
talking to people and listening to their problems. I really liked this
project because it gave us a choice to learn about the type of career we
wanted to do.
Computer PowerPoint
For this powerpoint I did it on the Invasion of D-Day. This project did meet
the standards set in class for many reasons. First of all, it had to be a
kiosk, which is where it just keeps repeating itself over and over again.
Also, it had a video that I edited which wasn't one of the requirements but
it is a good bonus. Finally, I had many good pictures and animation which
enhanced the final product and made it wonderful.
Geometry Game
In this project you had to make two games using MicroWorlds one of them had
to be a geometry game. This game is where you make a turtle and have it draw
things of which you command it to. I will remember this project twenty years
from now because it was the very first game I ever made on MicroWorlds and
it was actually pretty decent. This seemingly easy project, was very
challenging because I had to keep redoing it before it was perfect.
Tajikistan
Brochure
This was one of my favorite projects because I was able to describe my
favorite country that very few people know about. This relates to my future
because I want to travel to Tajikstan. On a scale of 1 to 10 I would give
this project a 12 for a few reasons. First, is that it was the very first
project I had ever done on Microsoft Publisher. Also, I really like telling people about
different things that they most likely haven't heard of. Finally, this was a
fun one to find all sorts of fun facts and pictures.
Racing Game
This was just a fun easy project that I made with MicroWorlds. I found it
very easy, however, when you had to give the commands for the units that was
tough. This peice may surprise people because you will notice that any one
of the animals can win. Also, I was able to make it say some stuff when each
one won. If I did things over again, I would probably change that it has
alot more fun stuff and just anything else overall. To sum it up, I would
have preferred to add
music to it that way people can jam to something while watching all these
interesting things go so fast.
Sturgeon Powerpoint
This was my favorite powerpoint I have done for quite a few reasons. First, I
have always been interested in sturgeon and when my teacher requested that
we all pick either an extinct or endangered animal. Now when I heard this I
was really scared cause I didn't know any of those, but imagine my surprise
when I saw my favorite animal was endangered. I started doing research and
eventually had a finished version of a powerpoint set up. This powerpoint is
very short because thats what we were told to do.
