              My Learning Styles

Before I took the test I thought I would be highest in aural and physical learning styles. I thought this because I love music and I like to work with my hands. I was actually highest in aural and social styles. I can see this because I am a social person and play football which requires a lot of communication. I also listen to music constantly. I think the test was accurate.

Aural style means that you like to work with sound and music. You have a good sense of pitch and rhythm. You can identify the sounds of different instruments. Certain music bring up strong emotions. You notice the music playing in the background of movies, TV shows and other media. Songs just pop into your head and start humming.

Social style means that you communicate well with people, verbally or non-verbally. You prefer to work in a class or group. You typically like team games, including team sports. You prefer social activities rather than doing your own thing. You enjoy talking with people while you are working, and also after class. “Let’s work together” is a phrase you might use.
