This week, schools across the nation are once again coming together to celebrate teachers and the invaluable contributions they make during Teacher Appreciation Week, May 6-10, 2024. Here in Littleton Public Schools, we are fortunate to have some of the finest teachers in the country, and we take immense pride in honoring their dedication and hard work. Across the district, celebrations have been in full swing, ranging from coffee carts to PTO-sponsored lunches and treats, along with heartfelt thank you notes and gifts from families. Despite these wonderful gestures, no gift or thank you can truly match the immense impact our teachers have on children's lives and learning.

The teaching profession faces more challenges today than ever before, but our teachers rise to these challenges every single day. Serving not only as educators but also as mentors, coaches, role models, nurses, counselors, social workers, and friends, they demonstrate unwavering commitment and care. There truly is no greater profession; teachers lay the foundation for all future professions.

On behalf of the entire LPS community, we extend our deepest gratitude to all teachers for the profound impact they have on the lives of our students and their families. Thank you for your passion, your patience, and your persistence in making a difference every day.
