Understanding Your Role in Reducing Stormwater Runoff Pollution
Stormwater runoff occurs when rain or snowmelt flows over the ground on its way to storm drains, drainage ways, creeks, and lakes. Stormwater picks up debris, chemicals, dirt, pet wastes and other pollutants and deposits them in bodies of water we use for swimming, fishing, and drinking.
The Three A's of Stormwater Pollution Control:
Illicit dumping is a significant issue and can result in fines. If you witness illegal dumping on school district property, please report the incident to district security at 303-347-3420.
