On Wednesday, October 8, 2025, EPIC Campus will celebrate the official kickoff and ribbon cutting of its brand new Recreational Vehicle (RV) Technician Program, a groundbreaking initiative that connects students to high-demand careers through real-world training, certifications, and industry partnerships.

The event will take place from 6:00–7:30 p.m. at EPIC Campus. Attendees will hear from students, instructors, and partners who made this program possible and will have the chance to tour a variety of RVs and see the skills students are learning firsthand.

From Vision to Reality
The idea for the RV technician program began in summer 2022 when local RV professional Whitney Holtz attended the Heritage High School all-class reunion and learned about the soon-to-open EPIC Campus. Seeing the connection between EPIC’s focus on skilled trades and the growing workforce needs of the RV industry, Holtz reached out to EPIC Campus Principal Travis Amonson, launching a series of conversations that led to the development of the program.

Construction Trades Pathway Lead Marc Finer recognized the perfect crossover between the skills taught at EPIC–electric, plumbing, and mechanical systems–and those needed in the RV industry. During the 2022–2023 school year, Finer attended training at the RV Technical Institute in Elkhart, Indiana, eventually becoming a Level I certified technician and authorized RVTI trainer.

In summer 2024, EPIC Campus officially became an RVTI Authorized Learning Partner and hosted its first three-week intensive RV Tech course. The success of this pilot program led to the creation of a semester-long course, which was formally approved by the Littleton Public Schools Board of Education in spring 2025.

Real-World Results
Two Construction Trades seniors from EPIC Campus completed internships at Windish RV during the spring of 2025, leading to a full-time job offer for one graduate. These tangible outcomes demonstrate the power of career-connected learning and industry collaboration.

In January 2026, EPIC Campus will become the first high school in the country to offer the RV Tech Level I Plus certification course, setting a national precedent.

Built-In Partnership
This program would not be possible without the support of industry partners including Windish RV, Grand Design, and the RV Technical Institute. These organizations have donated equipment, curriculum, and real-world opportunities for both students and instructors.

Littleton Public Schools and EPIC Campus are incredibly proud to be launching this program, the first of its kind, which will serve as a model not only in Colorado but across the country.
