All students will continue to receive free meals for the first semester of the 2025–2026 school year. The Colorado legislature has approved a ballot measure in November 2025 which, if passed, will determine if free meals can continue for the second semester.

To help protect this program and maximize federal and state funding—including critical at-risk funding for schools—families must complete the meal application.

If the ballot measure does not pass, many schools will lose access to free meals for all students.

It is imperative that we have families apply for school benefits as our district uses this data for additional funding including title funding and at risk funding. Additional benefits may be available to families who qualify for school benefits including: Summer-EBT, reduced cost internet, waived school fees, and more! Families are required to complete their school benefits form annually and they will become available for submission through SchoolCafe on July 28th.
