A group of students and educators pose together on a stage beneath a large screen that reads “EPIC Entrepreneurship Pitch Finals” with an image of the EPIC Campus building in the background. The group, diverse in gender and attire, stands proudly around a large trophy placed at the front. The setting is modern with bright lighting, orange architectural details, and a glass-walled upper level visible behind them. The atmosphere suggests celebration and recognition of achievement.

EPIC Campus Entrepreneurship students have made waves this spring, showcasing their innovation & drive on both local and regional stages.

In March, the annual EPIC Campus Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition kicked off with 20 impressive student-run companies vying for a spot in the finals. The top four teams advanced to the final round, delivering compelling pitches in a closely contested showdown. Ultimately, Monster Be Gone emerged victorious, earning first place and adding their name to the coveted EPIC Venture Cup. Congratulations to all participating teams for their creativity and dedication, and a special thank-you to our outstanding Entrepreneurship instructors—Chad Sawyer, Carla Thomas, and Will Kurtz—for guiding students throughout the competition.

The momentum continued into April as seven EPIC Campus teams competed in the CU Boulder New Venture Challenge Finals. Once again, Monster Be Gone took center stage, capturing 1st place and securing a $10,000 scholarship. Their consistent success underscores the talent, preparation, and entrepreneurial spirit cultivated at EPIC.

We couldn’t be prouder of our student entrepreneurs and look forward to seeing what ventures they launch next.
