EPIC Campus’ Internship Information Night

Join us for EPIC Campus’ Internship Information Night on Monday, September 8th from 5:30–7:00pm to learn more about Spring semester internship opportunities. This session is

required for seniors interested in participating in the EPIC Internship Program, and parents are encouraged to attend. If you’re unable to make the evening session, an alternate morning meeting will be offered on Wednesday, September 10th from 7:30–9:00am. Sign-up will open next week, don't miss your chance to get started!

Student Fees

At the EPIC Campus we have two types of fees, uniforms and class fees.  All students are expected to have two uniforms, one of which must be a collared shirt.  Class fees are for consumable items used in class, i.e. lumber, aluminum, workbooks, etc.  Fees have been posted in Infinite Campus in your student’s account. If at any time a fee is a burden on a student and/or family, please connect with your counselor or an administrator.  We will work with you.

There are three ways to pay fees:

  1. Pay Online - Log in to your Infinite Campus to pay online with a credit card, checking or savings account ( a small service fee will apply)

  2. Send a Check - Make a check payable to EPIC Campus. Please include on the memo line your student's name or ID number and send payment to EPIC Campus, Attn: Bookkeeper, 190 E Littleton Blvd.  Littleton, CO 80121, or you can have your student drop the payment by the bookkeeper's Office in the West Building

  3. Send Cash - If you feel comfortable sending cash with your student, you are more than welcome to do that. Please have your student see me at the Bookkeeper's Office in the West Building  for cash payments

If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact us at 303-347-4300.

  • Dates, times, and sign-up information are listed below.

  • Parents are welcome to attend.

  • Students must attend one meeting to be eligible to apply.

INSIDE EPIC CAMPUS

Electronics students learn the basic circuit properties: voltage, current and resistance through hands-on exploration.

Two male students in gray polo shirts are seated at a desk, focused on building an electronic circuit on a white breadboard. They are using a red digital multimeter to test the circuit.A person with long, brown hair is writing on a worksheet at a desk with a purple pen. A red digital multimeter and a small electronic circuit are visible on the desk. Other students are working with similar equipment nearby.Three students are seated around a wooden table in a classroom setting, working on an electronics project. EPIC’s Natural Resource’s Pathway Lead, Mike Montgomery, was featured in the latest issue of Chalkbeat. In the article, “This Colorado science teacher wants students to understand how food gets to the dinner table. Montgomery talks in the article about,” We are fortunate to have a hydroponics farm on the EPIC campus. Students, while learning the science behind plant growth, are involved with seeding, transplanting, and harvesting leafy greens for distribution to the cafeterias in the high schools for the creation of “EPIC” salads.

We also provide some produce to community food banks. The students take great pride in this work, knowing that they are providing for those in the community who might be facing food scarcity. The conversations we have in class have shifted beyond plant science to food production, distribution, and the need to reduce food waste. Talk about impactful lessons!” Read more of Monty’s interview in bio.

A man with a reddish-brown beard and short hair smiles at the camera. He is wearing a dark blue quilted vest with an "EPIC CAMPUS" logo over a light-colored T-shirt. He is standing against a dark blue background.

EPIC Teacher Cadets had a very engaging day! Cadets were conducting KEEN observations of early childhood education at The Village. When students got back, they shared their children’s books about self-concept and self-esteem.

One woman is holding up a laptop to show the others something on the screen, while the rest are looking on with papers and clipboards in hand.

Real Estate students created superhero posters and stories today based on fundamental characteristics and rights. Collaboration, Communication, and Critical Thinking for the win!

A comic-style illustration shows a superhero named Captain Bundle in a blue robe, holding a scale of justice. Below the illustration, his powers are listed: Right to Possess, Right to Exclude, and Right to Transfer.A poster shows a comic-style superhero named Aqua Deed in a blue suit, holding a glowing trident. His superpowers, including Prior Appropriation Vision and Riparian Shield, are listed to the side.A drawing of a superhero named Captain Scarcity, wearing a green and gray suit with a cape and a green mask. The drawing includes a list of his powers, a vocabulary section, and the artist's names.A hand-drawn superhero with a large yellow "F" on his chest, a yellow cape, and a camouflage pattern on his limbs. A speech bubble contains the phrase "I Ensure a brighter FUTURE for all!", and a list of his traits is also present.

Sports Med B started the school year off learning about wrist and hand. They practiced the anatomy on the Anatomage table and then created “movable” hands to learn about the joints and range of motion.

A group of high school students is gathered around a large interactive digital anatomy table, which displays a glowing human skeleton. A female instructor is explaining the display to the students.A collection of paper cutouts, shaped like human hands, are laid out on a dark surface. Some of the cutouts are colored in, with strings attached to simulate tendons and joints.

Work Based Learning time! Our WBL team is out and about EPIC Campus letting all our students know about how EPIC programming prepares them for the world of work.  Students can participate in apprenticeships, internships or job shadow opportunities.  This is EPIC!

A teacher is presenting a lesson on Work-Based Learning (WBL) to a classroom of students. A projector screen displays information about apprenticeships, internships, and job shadowing.

Nurse Aide skills time! CNA students learned about taking a radial pulse from an artery. Fun fact: you take a pulse from an artery not a vein because arteries are pressurized.

The woman is checking a watch on her wrist as she takes the pulse of the young man, who is seated on a bed.A teacher in a red hoodie is standing in front of a classroom, gesturing with her hands while speaking to a group of seven students.
