Welcome Back!
We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break!
Borrowed EPIC T-Shirts
For those students who have forgotten their EPIC t-shirt, we have EPIC t-shirts that they can borrow and then return after class. Unfortunately, we have had several students who have not returned their borrowed EPIC t-shirts. These t-shirts are grey and have a number on the tag. You and your students will have received an email if your student borrowed one that still
needs to be returned. Please return the t-shirt to the EPIC Main Office as we have a limited supply. If we do not receive the t-shirt by 12/19/25, there will be a fee applied in Infinite Campus for any unreturned t-shirt. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
EPIC Gear - Get yours today!
With cooler temperatures in the upcoming weeks, it’s a perfect time to order your EPIC gear! Use this EPIC Campus Merchandise Order Form to order EPIC gear including quarter-zip pullovers, crewneck sweatshirts and hoodies! See the form for details on payment and pick up.
First Semester Finals
Finals week for all LPS high schools is December 15 - 19, 2025. At EPIC, we will be following this schedule for that week. Please note: We will start class at 8:40 am each day. Transportation will run the normal morning pick-up times and will return students to home high schools by approximately 1:25 pm. Finals at EPIC will look differently than traditional pen and paper exams, and the schedule allows us to do something educational, collaborative and fun! Students will attend EPIC for an extended day on their assigned day where they will engage in different activities. Throughout the day students will complete a
reflection activity, give a group presentation, watch several presentations from students in different pathways, and engage in fun, collaborative activities. We will have brunch during the day at which time we will recognize students who have earned an industry certificate.
Students will get more detailed information from their instructors over the next few weeks.
Student Fees
First semester course fees and uniform fees have been posted to student accounts in Infinite Campus. If at any time a fee is a burden on a student and/or family, please connect with your counselor or an administrator. We will work with you.
There are three ways to pay fees:
Pay Online - Log in to your Infinite Campus to pay online with a credit card, checking or savings account ( a small service fee will apply)
Send a Check - Make a check payable to EPIC Campus. Please include on the memo line your student's name or ID number and send payment to EPIC Campus, Attn: Bookkeeper, 190 E Littleton Blvd. Littleton, CO 80121, or you can have your student drop the payment by the bookkeeper's Office in the West Building
Send Cash - If you feel comfortable sending cash with your student, you are more than welcome to do that. Please have your student see Jody Luft at the Bookkeeper's Office in the West Building for cash payments
If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to contact our EPIC Campus Bookkeeper Jody Luft at jluft@lps.k12.co.us or 303-347-4301.
COUNSELOR CORNER
Scholarship Opportunity
Colorado P.E.O. has established the Colorado State Scholarship Fund (CSSF) which is open to women who are high school seniors or have earned their GED. CSSF gives preference to women pursuing non-traditional or vocational areas of study. All high school senior females are eligible to apply though. Note that they must be attending an accredited program.
Last year, P.E.O. made 61 awards through CSSF, and amounts varied from $1,000 to $2,500. It is non-renewable. The deadline to apply is January 31, 2026. Applicants can also go to this web page https://coloradopeo.org/colorado-and-local-chapter-scholarships-1/ where there's an email link that they can use to request an application
INSIDE EPIC CAMPUS
Medical Terminology students had the opportunity to experience the human body at the ACC Cadaver Lab. Through a human who graciously donated their body to science, we looked at all the organ systems we have learned throughout the semester. What a great hands on experience!
Sports Medicine B welcomed Tristian from Prather Physical Therapy. Tristian took the students through an ACL return to sport protocol. Then he discussed and demonstrated trigger point dry needling on Ms. Oberto.

EPIC Campus Real Estate students got a power packed visit from guest speakers, Tyler Norris and Tim Donohue, who broke down how Realtors + Lenders = the ultimate dream team for homebuyers! We also learned something HUGE! The choices we make in the next four years—student loans, credit cards, car payments—can shape our future ability to buy a home. Our students walked away informed, inspired, and ready to build strong financial foundations for their future keys and front doors! Thanks Tyler and Tim for sharing your wisdom!

Lisa Fugate with Northwestern Mutual visited Investing class today to help students understand the value of building relationships as a Financial Advisor. Students also learned the fundamentals of effective financial planning.
