As we approach Election Day, Littleton Public Schools is committed to sharing factual information about the proposed $10 million Mill Levy Override (MLO) on the ballot.

An MLO is a voter-approved local property tax that provides ongoing operational funding for school districts. If approved, the funds will directly support attracting and retaining outstanding LPS teachers, expanding career readiness and academic programs for our students, and maintaining safe, secure schools for our entire community.

Listen or Watch: Special Edition LPS Toddcast

In a special edition of the LPS Toddcast, Superintendent Dr. Todd Lambert and Chief Financial Officer Jonathan Levesque discuss the state of the district, budget realities, steps taken to reduce costs, and factual information about the ballot measure. Listen or watch today!

You can also view the presentation that was shared at our community forums.

Calculate Your Tax Impact

For every $100,000 of residential property value, the impact is ~$25/year (~$2/month). For an average Littleton home valued at $600,000, the tax impact is approximately $150/year (or ~$13/month).

Try out the Voter Impact Calculator to find your estimated impact of passing the LPS MLO (4A) and Amendment 87, Colorado's graduated income-tax proposal.
