This week, Littleton Public Schools joins the nation in celebrating American Education Week, a time to honor the team of individuals who make public schools special, from teachers and support staff to administrators, families, volunteers, and community partners.

At the November 12, 2025 Board of Education meeting, Board President Chérie Garcia-Kuper and Littleton Education Association President, Amanda Crosby, signed a proclamation officially recognizing November 17–21, 2025 as the 104th annual observance of American Education Week.

The proclamation highlights the importance of public education as the foundation of our democracy, preparing students for a future filled with opportunity, civic engagement, and lifelong learning. It also honors the dedication and professionalism of all LPS employees and the many volunteers who work together to support the success of every child.

LPS is proud to be a district where students are nurtured, challenged, and inspired every day, thanks to the tireless efforts of our educators, support staff, families, and community members.

To all of our incredible LPS employees and partners: thank you for your continued commitment to excellence in education. We are grateful for all you do to help our students grow, thrive, and learn!

Happy American Education Week!
