Aerospace, where ideas are fabricated and the sky is truly the limit. In EPIC’s senior design class, our students built tethered and autonomous rovers that endured tests and courses. They overcame obstacles, built their skills in teamwork, and strengthened their knowledge in areas they weren't familiar with. Overall, the project was a success!

Architectural Design and Modeling students are completing their ancient architecture projects. Students research an ancient site and the mystery surrounding the area. Next students spatially reason the area without using any tools. Then students create a poster, use Sketch Up to design the model, and create a proportional model out of cardboard. All of this is done in collaborative groups emphasizing EPICs four workforce readiness skills: collaboration, critical thinking, communication and professionalism.

Cadets heard from Instructional Coach Meg Olsen on all the different forms of teaching and learning Cadets would see in classrooms. Cadets heard from Principal Lind on what makes Goddard special. And our Cadets got a real treat hearing from one of Goddard’s student teachers on her educational path to get to student teaching.
