EPIC Campus Construction Design and Real Estate students have partnered with Lois Lenski 5th graders. Lenski 5th graders developed a floor plan that meets the needs of a prospective family. 5th graders were given one of ten family scenarios. Each 5th grade group selected one of three model homes (Timbuk 2, Snowlight, and Shakira Shakira) that would best fit the needs of their family. The model homes were original creations of EPIC’s Design instructor, Jeff Steffen. 5th grade students wrote up ideas for their home and submitted those thoughts to EPIC Design and Real Estate students for their feedback. 5th graders built their model kits. Lenski 5th graders sketched up their interior floor plans and presented their finished products to EPIC Design and Real Estate students.
