EPIC CAMPUS was proud to be part of the Multilingual Family Night celebrating Dia Del Nino on April 30, 2026 at East Community Center. EPIC Nutrition students got a look inside the LPS Central Production Kitchen, where food is prepared centrally to simplify operations and ensure consistent, high-quality meals are distributed across schools throughout the district. From exploring how nutrient needs change across the lifespan to seeing the day-to-day flow of a k-12 kitchen, the visit brought our learning to life in a meaningful way. A huge thank you to the CPK team who made the tour possible, and for sharing a delicious muffin recipe we got to make and enjoy together!
